CRC Cambodia

YOUR NEXT ACTION FOR MY RIGHTS!

On June 19–20, 2024, CRC-Cambodia, Terre des Hommes Netherlands in Cambodia, and Association Action Education (formerly Aide et Action) collaborated to conduct a meeting between children and youth and NGOs, UN agencies, DPs, and diplomatic missions on enhancing child and youth participation in the Universal Periodic Review (UPR). The voices of children and youth are fundamental to shaping policies, programs, and initiatives aimed at advancing child rights and youth empowerment.
It is essential to provide platforms for children and youth to express their perspectives, experiences, and recommendations on issues affecting their lives as key stakeholders in decision-making processes. In line with this, we are organizing a dialogue session to facilitate meaningful exchanges between child and youth representatives and relevant key stakeholders. This event aims to amplify youth voices, promote dialogue, and foster collaboration towards creating positive change for children and youth nationally.

This event aims to amplify youth voices, promote dialogue, and foster collaboration towards creating positive change for children and youth nationally. As a result, the dialogue served as a platform for meaningful engagement and collaboration between children, youth, NGO leaders, UN agencies, the Embassy, and DPs, with the ultimate goal of advancing child rights and youth empowerment. By involving children, amplifying youth voices, and fostering dialogue, we aim to create a more inclusive and participatory environment where the perspectives and contributions of children and youth are valued and prioritized in decision-making processes and policy development.
